CCA Pressure Treated wood products have stood the test of time. CCA pressure treated wood that was installed as far back as the 1940s is still in use today and still in serviceable condition. CCA products are the materials of choice for post frame buildings and permanent wood foundations. The CCA wood preservative system meets the American Wood Protection Association (AWPA) Standards and meets all major building code requirements.

This wood has been preserved by pressure treatment with an EPA-registered pesticide containing inorganic arsenic to protect it from insect attack and decay. Wood treated with inorganic arsenic should be used only where such protection is important and approved, be sure to consult your states and local building codes.

CCA is no longer permitted for use in the construction of decks, fences, fresh water boat docks, playsets, gazebos, retaining walls, and a variety of other residential applications, be sure to consult your states and local building codes for approved uses of CCA.
