Simpson Strong-Tie L50Z Angle. Used to reinforce angle connections. Staggered nail pattern reduces the possibility for splitting. Wider leg is nailed into joist to allow correct nailing. Shipped at 90 degree angle, stronger than a toe nailed connection. Made with 16-Gauge ZMAX galvanized steel. Install with six 10d hdg nails.
